What is Licensure Examination for Teachers?
It is the examination that was implemented in the Philippines through the Republic Act 7836 or otherwise known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994” on December 16, 1994. The RA aims to improve teachers to enhance the educational system of the country. Learn more about LET

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED)
How many test items are in Professional and General Education (LET Elementary)?
For the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) graduates, the examination consists of two parts: General Education and Professional Education. How many test items are in Prof. Ed., Gen. Ed., and Major (LET Secondary with Majorship)?
For the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) graduates, the examination consists of three parts: General Education, Professional Education, and their Major. The same with BEED, each component also consists of 150 test items which will be taken for more or less 3 hours. General Education refers to the core subjects like Filipino, English, Math, Science, and Social Science/Studies.
Professional Education refers to the subjects related to the teaching profession like Developmental Reading, Principles of Teaching, Facilitating Learning, Assessment, Child and Adolescent Development, Methods and Strategies, Curriculum Development, and Teaching Profession.
Area of Specialization, on the other hand, refers to the majorship or the specific field that BSED graduate will handle like English, Biology, Chemistry, Values, Mathematics, Filipino, Social Studies, Music, Art, Physical Education, and Health or MAPEH, Technology and Livelihood Education, Agriculture and Fishery Arts.

hi question po, nakita ko ang majorship ng Psychology na pwede po pala sa Biosci OR Socsci, but nung nag apply ako sa PRC walang choice na binigay sakin automatic Socsci ang binigay sakin. Nalaman ko sa kakilala ko na Psychology graduate din po na pinapili sya kung alin sa dalawa ang gusto nya. Magkaibang branch kami ngfile ng LET ako po sa PICC. Thank you for sharing the reviewer in online site, but we want to ask for the other “answer keys” . I have check these 150 items per part (Gen.ed, Prof.ed, Majorship). Turns out it is not complete in the “Answer key section”.
Hoping the admin can reassess this important matter. This would be great for those who are trying to look for an online reviewer for an additional knowledge and for those who can’t afford to enroll in Review Center either books to avail for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Teachers.
