DepEd to release health standards in schools for the SY 2020-2021.

The Department of Education (DepEd) said that they will be releasing the health standards in schools for the upcoming school year 2020-2021.


Education Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan said to ABS-CBN’s Teleradyo, the Department of Education will come up with the minimum health standards for schools, such as the physical distancing protocol and the use of any protective equipment like face masks.

“‘Yan ay ilalabas natin ngayong darating na Linggo, ‘yung aming required health standards at siyempre, kaakibat niyan ‘yung budget, resources and support that we will put in,” Usec. Malaluan said.

He also said that DepEd will present to the Department of Health (DOH) their own testing protocol for teachers.
