DepEd Tayo Facebook page, posted the Proposed Classroom Seat Arrangement for the upcoming SY 2020-2021. Each classroom is composed of 15-20 chairs and the seat arrangement follows the 1 Meter Distancing.

“Walang papasok sa paaralan hangga’t hindi safe! Ngunit kabilang sa paghahanda para sa pagbubukas ng klase ay ang pagsasaayos ng classroom layout kung sakaling kakailanganin at papayagan ang ibang paaralan na magkaroon ng face-to-face learning delivery. Mabuti na ang handa tayo upang masiguro ang kaligtasan ng ating mga mag-aaral at guro.”

“Magkaiba ang layout para sa mga classroom na naka-armchairs at ang para sa tables at chairs, ngunit sinusunod nito ang layong 1-meter sa pagitan ng bawat learner.”

Several adjustment was also made on the curriculum. DepEd Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan (Undersecretary and Chief of Staff of the Office of the Secretary) said that the new curriculum has been compressed into the most essential learning competencies (MELC) and the will begin the implementation this year. These learning competencies were rephrased and deemed most essential in the achievement of content and performance standards.
