Tracing is one of those important activities/training that could help children develop fine motor skills, such as learning to write and draw. It can also help those students with developmental disabilities to develop their math and language skills. It can also improve their hand and eye coordination, dexterity, and spatial awareness. Parents and teachers should do their part and help children practice tracing. We compiled some Printable Tracing Practice Worksheets that you can print for the use of your children. You can download these files from the links below.
Preschool children are advised to do tracing activities to practice the skills they will need to write, including how to hold a pencil or crayon. Tracing curved and straight lines, circles, and other shapes refine children’s muscles and coordination.
Tracing can also develop children’s skills in writing letters. They will be able to easily memorize alphabets and learn how to write clearly. Children can also learn how to draw objects by tracing the printed figure of those objects and help them develop familiarity with the different things around them.
