Subject:

ICTS AS A CPD PROVIDER ACCREDITED BY PRC

The Information and Communications Technology Service (ICTS) has just been accredited by the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council of Professional Teachers of the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) as a CPD Provider.

ICTS has been given Accreditation No. PTR-2022-366.

From here on, all trainings regulated under the ICTS programs, especially Educational Technology (EdTech), will render and be given CPD points that will be beneficial to our public school teachers and personnel.

The vision of transformative and competitive professional growth among the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the Department of Education (DepEd) in using emerging technologies, software and mobile applications, cybersecurity and digital equipment in delivering quality and world-class instruction is the prime mission of the ICTS.

With the rapid growth and advancement in technology and digital learning, ICTS, backed by the leadership of the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA), submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) pertinent documents as ICTS applied to become a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider.

The Core Values of ICTS as a CPD Provider are aligned with our mission as public servants – which are to Inspire, Collaborate, Transform and Serve for the Good of the Humanity.

The Vision of ICTS is to be a leading provider and innovator of transformative learning using ICT and digital equipment to support and augment instruction. By 2023, ICTS aims to be a global provider of training sessions that will launch the Classrooms of the Future.

All programs conducted by the different divisions under the ICTS, namely the Technology Infrastructure Division (TID), User Support Division (USD), Solutions Development Division (SDD) and the Educational Technology Unit (EdTech), will abide by the rules and regulations prescribed by the CPD Council for Professional Teachers.

For more information, questions and concerns on this subject, kindly contact Mr. Mark Anthony C. Sy, Head of the ICTS-EdTech, through email address [email protected].

Congratulations ICTS! Mabuhay ang DepEd!
