The Civil Service Examination is one of the most taken tests here in the Philippines. Passing this exam means obtaining eligibility that you can use as your additional credibility when applying for a government job. It sounds good, right? However, this examination is not like a simple test. Some say it is as hard as the board examination, so if you want to pass this exam, you must take the preparation seriously. The exam has two types: Professional and Sub-Professional levels. The Civil Service Commission administers both levels through the Paper and Pencil Test. The passing rate for both is also the same. However, the professional level is harder than the sub-professional level. The former is a 170-item test with an allotted time of 3 hours and 10 minutes, while the latter is composed of 165 multiple-choice questions, and you have to finish it in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
